J. Kelly & Daughters is an 1850s farmstead in Little Falls, New York. Jess and Jareth, alongside their two daughters, raise a small flock of naturally colored Corriedale sheep among a lively barnyard menagerie. Each year’s colorway is one of a kind, inspired by the flock’s ever-changing range of natural wool tones. Our fiber is thoughtfully processed at a small-batch mill in Vermont.

J. Kelly & Daughters is located on 30 acres of pasture overlooking the Mohawk River in Little Falls, New York. Jareth and Jess purchased the land and buildings in 2010, which had been farmed for over 150 years. Over the past 15 years Jess and Jareth, and now their daughters, have thoughtfully restored the farm, remodeling the buildings, slowly building gardens, and adding livestock over the years.Together they are creating joyful memories in the moments they can slow down on the farm. They currently have a large vegetable garden, a growing collection of perennial and native plants, and a lively barnyard with chickens, pigs, goats, the occasional cow guest, and a growing flock of Correidale sheep. They are committed to sustainable agricultural practices.
In August 2023, J. Kelly & Daughters welcomed their first three Corriedale ewe lambs, Agnus, Dot, and Elspeth, from Savage Hart Farm, by way of Observatory Hill Farm. Since then, additional ewes, wethers, and a ram from Savage Hart have joined the flock, helping build a strong flock focused on exceptional Corriedale fiber. The flock welcomed its first lambs in spring 2025 and continues to grow steadily, alongside the shepherds’ skills and experience.Shearing has yielded beautiful raw fleeces for hand spinners, as well as lofty yarns spun in Vermont. As the flock expands, the original dairy barn has been renovated to better serve the sheep while the shepherds carefully manage the grass and clover pastures, ensuring the flock thrives while protecting the health of the land.
